Doula Solidarity 

and Support Initiative 

(DSSI)

The Doula Solidarity and Support hub was established on 1 April 2022 in response to the escalating refugee crisis following the war in Ukraine. 

The initiative is being scaled to strengthen connections between projects providing perinatal support to mothers and people experiencing social precarity in the perinatal period.

An autumn 2026 webinar series will present initiatives, with replay available afterwards.
